About Wildside Vets
Wildside Vets is a proudly independent veterinary practice in Barrow-in-Furness, opened in April 2023 by vet and animal-lover Kate.
“We set up because our local out-of-hours care had moved miles away. We wanted to bring that support back into the area — so we opened Wildside.”
Wildside now cares for over 3,000 animals — everything from dogs and cats to rabbits, reptiles, and zoo animals. With three vets, a growing team of 12, and a passion for exotic species, it’s a modern practice built around one thing: personal care.
